MALTAGLIATI Black

Story

Maltagliati—like grandma’s homemade pasta… or Maltagliati the way Ed Gein (born Edward Theodore Gein) might have meant it.

A notorious serial killer who inspired movies like Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Silence of the Lambs, Don’t Open That Door, and the character Bloody Face in season two of American Horror Story.

We won’t go into the grim details of what “Ed” actually did, but we imagined our “friend” in today’s world, thrown into modern chaos.

A man in his forties living in a hectic Milanese apartment building—where, like in any proper Italian condo, there’s a building manager and a collection of uncivil neighbors.

Ed is summoned to yet another condo meeting.
He shows up as punctual as a Swiss watch: short wool jacket, loose pants tucked into rugged countryside boots, and of course, his signature faded tartan wool cap.

Dead serious, without saying a word, he places his blood-stained chainsaw on the meeting table.
Everyone goes silent—frozen like slabs of marble—gulps echo in the room, eyes wide with fear.
Ed has finally brought peace.

That’s how we like to picture a condo meeting… with Ed Gein.
The rest of the story? We’ll leave that to your imagination.

On the T-shirt, just below the chainsaw, we added this line:
“Woodcarvers and peacemakers – highly recommended for condo meetings.”
